Tipping Point is played on a standard VEX 12' x 12' square playing field. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by Scoring Rings, moving Mobile Goals to Alliance Zones, and by Elevating on Platforms at the end of a Match. There are 72 rings, 3 neutral goals, 4 alliance goals, 2 per alliance, and 2 platforms, 1 per alliance.
Our team was awarded design award and tournament champion in the Formosa Signature event in 4 Dec 2021. Our skills scores stand 2nd place in the tournament and world ranking 28th (by 18 Jan 2022)
Change Up is played on a standard VEX Competition field. The object of the game is to get a higher score than the other alliance by putting balls in goals and connecting rows. There are 32 balls total - half blue and half red - and there are 9 goals around the field. Each scored Ball is worth 1 point for the corresponding Alliance color. The highest scored Ball in a Goal will be owned by the corresponding Alliance color. If an Alliance owns three goals in any direction (vertical, horizontal or diagonal), they will receive a 6 point bonus for a Connected Row.
Our robot performance can achieve driving skills 126 perfect score with 12 sec stop time and programming skills 126 perfect points as well. We are the Encore Challenge Winners and won the Sportsmanship Award in the 1st division (Mercury division) at VEX World Live Remote Skills Championship in May 2021.
Tower Takeover is played on a standard VEX Competition field. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing alliance by placing cubes in towers and scoring cubes in goal zones. There are 66 cubes in total - 22 each of green, orange, and purple - and 7 towers around the field, 2 of which are alliance special that can only be used by robots of the same alliance.
Turning Point is played on a standard VEX Competition field. There are 8 caps that can be low scored on the playing field tiles or high scored on 6 posts around the field. There are also 9 flags that can only be toggled by being hit with balls. Teams also score points by parking at the end of the match on their own Alliance platform or on the center platform, which can be used by either alliance.
